Hybrid Workshop on "Turkish-American Relations in the 21st Century"

In November 2024, shortly after President Donald J. Trump's re-election, Istanbul Kent University held a critical hybrid roundtable discussion to examine the potential consequences of his second term as the President of the United States (U.S.) on global politics and Turkish-American relations. This event included esteemed scholars and diplomats from various countries, providing diverse perspectives.

Following this event, we published a groundbreaking book titled Turkish-American Relations in the 21st Century, expertly edited by two distinguished academicians: Prof. Dr. Ozan Örmeci from Istanbul Kent University and Prof. Dr. Herbert R. Reginbogin from the Catholic University of America. This publication offers invaluable insights into the future trajectory of Turkish-American relations.

Inspired by the enthusiasm within our academic community, we are eager to explore the future of Turkish-American relations further and examine the implications of U.S. policies on Türkiye across political, economic, social, and military dimensions. To facilitate this, the Strategic Research Center of Istanbul Kent University (KENTUSAM) and the International Political Academy (UPA) academic initiative jointly organize a high-profile hybrid workshop to bring together leading academics and diplomats for comprehensive discussions on these critical issues.
